This is a great place to start your search for information

Search engines are a fine place to start a search of the Internet, but often the results are unsatisfactory. Besides, the Internet isn't the only place to find information. Our library has gathered together some great resources for you to use to find the information you need.

  • Use Gale Resources for 24/7 answers to everyday research, car repair, health information, small business resources, K–12 homework help, readers’ advisory, gardening, history, home improvement, and more.
  • Use Transparent Language for a fun, effective, and engaging way to build listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a foreign language.
  • Use Credo Reference for research, homework, and other reference needs.
  • Use Iowa Locator or WorldCat to find books, CDs, DVDs and other items in libraries.
  • Use HealthInfoIowa to start your search for health information.

The subject guides give you a great place to find information on travel, sports, consumer goods and more.

Iowa Heritage Project and Iowa Publications Online can help you dig deep into all things Iowa.

Use the links at the left to find the information you need.
