April 13 - 18 is National Library Week!

Come and help us celebrate in appreciation of you, our patrons.

Tuesday, April 14


The All Iowa Reads book discussion - read the book your Iowa neighbors are reading this year, then discuss it at the library. Get your copy now!

  • The All Iowa Reads selection for 2015 is My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira.
  • Discussion will be held at 7:00 p.m.


Wednesday, April 15

Science Fun for the kids - come to the library for a short science project.

  • Especially for kids ages 6 to 12.
  • Come anytime between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m.


Thursday, April 16


Preschool Story Hour 

  • Kids will enjoy stories, games, crafts and fun.
  • From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.


Friday, April 17


"Frozen" Party


  • Boys and girls of all ages, dress as your favorite "Frozen" character and meet Elsa!
  • From 3:30 - 4:30 pm.


Saturday, April 18

Open House and Craft Time Fun

 Open House

For our Open House, we will be offering cookies and hot beverages from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Come in and enjoy refreshments and a visit.

Craft Time Fun

Kids of all ages welcome to come to the library to make and take a springtime craft from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
